Do you have an Airtel Connection? then i hope you are also frustrated of the Airtel Advertisement SMSs that comes and litters you Inbox. Many times customers get sms which requests to subscribe to some Airtel service by sending a toll free SMS. Often the  Customer is Airtel illiterate and subscribes(knowingly or unknowingly) to the service without using it,finally to get rid of the service ,gets a new connection dropping the old one. For your kind information I once boasted that I am enough literate about all Airtel services,GPRS,WAP, Net2Phone,Mobile Office .But unfortunately I was wrong. I am also Airtel illiterate.

If you just open the message(at least only for reading,yes mind it ..only for reading even don’t need to click on the URL)  then you get subscribed to some NUT for NET (or Whatever)service  and Airtel deducts Rs 15 often(may be once in every 2 days or may be once in every 2 minutes).After every Deduction it sends the message

As usual i called them again and this time i asked for a conversion with Mr Dipankar. Regrettably he was not there at that time.

So I had to start my love story(with Airtel :x) again from the starting day. Finally the person assured me that 

he has sent a request for unsubsription to that WAP service. Also I asked them about Airtel DND service.

I had a balance of Rs 0.75.I tried to send that SMS but failed .I remember he said 1909 is a toll free no.
Well Thank you for you kind attention to this love story with my fucking Airtel connection. Can you please suggest me 

some way to get rid of this daily business of Rs 15. All your Ideas are welcome in advance.

however please keep in mind. please don’t suggest me to take a new connection. I cannot do so.
And if any one suggest me to complain at Consumer forum (or Whatever) I have a detailed log of all the SMS Ads,GPRS uses(which i haven’t used for the last three months). 

I hope those log files can help.

Recently I got a HD print of the movie Armageddon. I have just one thing to tell the Action , Special Effects directors and the Story writers , If i had been in your position I would have done less mistakes than you have done.
The Revealing mistakes ,goofs,factual Errors,Error in geography,Continuity Errors are

1.18 days are left and they detected the Meteor just now. And that too was detected by some Accident.What was the Hubble Telescope ,lots of Amateur Astronomers doing?

2.The Drilling team may have been the biggest mistake in the history of NASA.There were people who never understood their importance in saving the world. Is it that A.J. Frost was in the team so NASA had to take them

3.Oxygen Re-fueling in Space station. Is space station a Re Fueling station. The MIR Space Station has no consequence or importance in the story.

4.The Armadillo(driller car )supplied to the crew by NASA to “Independence” ,when jumped over the Canyon, grass was clearly visible at the edge of the Canyon. After the Armadillo(driller car) came out from the crashed Shuttle. It was shown being driven on a flat land. It was present in the Meteor !!!!!!!!! Is it a joke.
5.There was no sense of gravity in the Meteor.It was like they were still in the earth. The fake video given by NASA about Moon Landing by Niel Armstrong was much better than this movie.

6.The Meteor is supposed to rotate in all 3 dimensions.However it’s view of the Earth remains always the same.And finally the Nuke was successful to break the Meteor in 2 pieces so that it exactly goes in two directions and the Earth is thus saved.However for a body rotating in all 3 dimensions it is not possible.It would have been possible if they could set the Nuke in some fixed calculated time.However it is impossible for a body rotating in 3 Dimension to maintain its Conservation of Angular Momentum in the way they have shown.

7.Shuttle Crews enter the individual shuttles after they went up in the same lift and finally they were directed by some person to two different directions as “Independence Crew this side” and “Freedom Crew this side”. Finally the Shuttles were shown to launch at a much lager distance than it would be .Launch pads 39A and 39B are three miles apart.

8.What was the reason for sending two shuttles. Isn’t it that NASA has no care about Money? Only to carry the whole team of Harry?

9.Six writers from WGA wrote the story.Who complied the final story? Surely one single person was not in the final compilation.Many things in the story has no consequences and importance afterwards in the movie.

10.Space Shuttles were moving so much side by side.The shuttles have engines running blue flames continuously, whereas in reality short burst of gas are used jets to provide attitude controls.Once it reaches the Space it maintains its speed without burning any fuel as there is no friction in space .The two shuttles’ movements in the movie are too close to impossible to perform in space with current technology.

11.The movie starts on a Friday and they say that the asteroid will hit in 18 days, which would bring us to a Tuesday. The shuttle is launched on a Tuesday evening at 6:30pm. It takes about an hour (67min) to get to MIR Space Station, 60 hours to get to the moon, 12 min slingshot, 8 hours on the asteroid and about 4 hours (3:57) to earth after zero barrier. This timeline projects the asteroid hitting earth Friday evening around 8pm. No where near Tuesday evening.(source: IMDB)

12.The explosion that shears the asteroid in two slices would not prevent both parts from striking the Earth if they were as close to the Earth as depicted in the movie; both fragments would not have enough momentum to clear the attraction of the Earth. Later in the movie, when A.J. gets an idea about how to go look for the others, he shoots 5-6 bullets at the wall and it falls immediately. How can that be???

17.At the end, Grace Stamper and Chic’s Ex-wife are wearing the EXACT same dress.

With a girl who has at least a little crush on me.

Now coming to the point..The perfect date part.I like Goa sea beaches the most.Time is evening because i dont like morning time or sit in the afty sunshine.The situation will be more enjoying if it is spring time and a bit less windy day.Now if the girl has a little crush for me…and i have some for her also…in the date i will try to know her she will try to know me.(it will most probably be enjoying :P)
Else(if either of us have no crush or interest or like that) I will end up with discussions on matters like good features of Vista/Linux or she will end up with what she did with her Ex Boy friends.(bored up!!!)

In my 4 yrs i have learned one thing not to do in IIT is “don’t get out of the heard of sheep…you will not be able to enter into it any more.”

Well Decrease the JEE level a bit more.and make some more Reservation.you will earn some more money.yeah i ll also bribe you some time so that i can pass.
I remember one of My Friend who got the highest marks in “Mechanics” in my first year is now in a position that he may have to discontinue his Studies as he got too many backlogs in many subjects.He is from one of the Top Departments of IIT Kgp.Apparently it seems that its the fault of IIT System.Let me tell some thing about him.He plays a lots of Computer games ans has upload download business.Can you please ever ask him what made him leave all his studies.He has actually nothing to tell because he is so much hopeless about the IIT system that for him it is better not to go after any dream which has no future.
Let me tell you .Every Student had lofty dreams before coming to IIT.And for that dream they repeatedly tried to get into IIT.The One who failed to get into IIT …I think they are lucky.Those who came here forgot what they once dreamed of.IIT Authorities made them forget .My friend was bright in studies but a bit week in his Determination.He has chosen his path now.He can’t come back.And the rest who are not like him …who tried to remain in the heard of Sheep get some huge package in some foreign banks and some Software Companies.

By The Way who am I to blame IIT Authorities.They Provided us 24 hrs High Speed Internet Connection,Good Hostels to live in,Sports Equipments for our Overall development,A big Central Library(The biggest in Asia) where we can get any books for our so called research works…The list doesn’t ends.What IIT didnt Provided me is a Faculty who can tell me what should I learn from his lecture.I just mugged them up before my Exams and vomited them on the Answer Sheet.
Another of my junior who failed in the “Digital Electronics” and gave Summer Exams,The Prof told me that that boy was even better in studies than most of the students who got good grades in the original Exam.
Oh I am for the wrong Information sorry..Internet,Gym,Good Hostel,VGSOM ..all has been provided by IIT Alumni s …Not IIT Authorities.
And Recently IIT cannot Provide Lab Equipments and faculty for Students ..yet has doubled its Intake.Well Let them Continue.After all Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution says that the Fittest Survives.I Hope I will finally Survive.Give me Best of Luck.

It was the 28 th  Night(i should say start of the next day) at 12:30a.m….We had New Delhi-Puri Superfast from Kharagpur.At that spur of the moment i could feel the waves of puri beach beckoning me.The mesmerizing effect of friendship coupled with rejuvenation was enuf for me to carry forward a trip of a lifetime..however it was only a train trip and that too late which just incremented the flavours and colours of mind that was already in an ecsatic state…..On 29 th Morning we reached Hotel Ashray ,Puri. A sumptuous breakfast, even though limited by constraints of time was good enuf to plunge all of us to the end of where we live(land) and the start of wat covers 3 quarters of earth(the aquatic mania)…Bathing at puri sea beach was like a mouth watering ransom for everyone but 2 of us MARATHE and SAIKI preferred not to take the bait and instead watch over our bags lest it might fall bait to thieves….Returning to the waves it was an awesome experience.It s not for the first time that i bathed at sea…but it was the first time parental advice and hardboundedness was absent leading to complete acclaimation of guardianship over myelf…….The recipe for enjoyment to the daredevil extent was prepared by RUPA,SHREYAS and BOLLAM with whom i had a unique experience that took me to new heights while i diving to new depths down at the sea……..The strong waves making me somersault like innocent clothes that are treated in a washing machine but who cares……….COME ON!!!!!!!!! u r not going to come here daily so lets rock……yippeee………A couple of hours  bath is enough for any one to catch cough and cold and Mandal was the first warrior to be slain in this battle.I don’t know how i managed to make an escapade from this battlefield…….

Lunchtime ringing bells in our appetites…..everyone satisfied his grudge and after an unconscious sleep of a couple of hours we made our way to the holy Jagannath Temple.The aura of the temple created an atmosphere of silence and devtion among us……..but that did not cripple us before the pandas conceding to their demands…….we were predetermined not to spend money on them…MARATHE and I bought prasads and had our prayers reached to LORD JAGANNATH .Even though the main temple gate was closed but emotions can cross hurdles and barriers….The temple visit instilled  confidence and hope into each one of us for our hard way to the future ahead and the faces of my friends beaming with confidence  and light seemed like a reflection to my thoughts………Well it was time for some shopping at Puri sea shore shops.You need to have good bargaining skills to have both your desires and your pocket meet.In a joy of victory after scaling down to Rs100 from as high as Rs300 i soon found myself a newbie in this field when Sumit crashed down prices like dashing waters on beach as he made it from Rs 20 to Re.1….The fried prawn at the seashore was so sumptuous…ummmmmmmmmm……..i can still feel it…SAIKI and MARATHE booked a Sumo for the next day.We had a long trip that would take us across cities unravelling many mysteries.A very tiring yet expectant journey it was going to be….it demanded sleep and rest for the bruised and aching self that nite.

Next day  i woke up @ 4:30 even before others dared to part their eye lining.Having a bath and then getting ready was no mean task on the chill that was driving me to madness but the more daunting task was to get others ready especially GOLU([:)]).Our journey started at 7.a.m……Konark sun temple was our first due destination.The guide over thr. was an ingenious in himself,seeing a group of college spoilt brats he was on his toes as to wat kind of explanatory stories we were seeking and stories of ancient temples are often luring enuf for both the customers like us as well as their narrators and that these stories would not be pursued in a family environment….The guide enlightened us more regarding kamasutra positions of love making and unorthodox concepts of sex existing centuries ago….Infact his elicitations regarding these topics dominated more than the actual information about the temple that we were seeking for and ready to fork our money out for….neway our konark temple trip was filled with hidden smiles waded out to each other before bursting into peals of laughter after chilling out on coconut water….every bit of that discussion was tangential to GOLU…while MARATHE having a constant naughty eye on THAKUR….well cheers to the guide…..After that we went to DHAULGIRI, a Shanti Stupa.The milk white colour of the temple denied its creation centuries ago…the eloquent paleness of the temple colour coupled with the height at which it was located making the entire world looking like tiny tots sparkling in the shimmering sun…felt like we could spend hours there just gazing at the immortal beauty of nature and somewhat moulded by man tooo……. Not too far LINGARAJ was our next stop..a complex that encompasses around 100 temples….alas we weren’t allowed to take camera to photograph those inevitable memories….After lunch we were planning to go to Kalinga Institute of Technology.Shreyas had som1 as good as his better half whom he wanted to meet and from our side appreciation and perhaps a tinge of enviousness(hahaha just jokin).Unfortunately the sands of time that pass by,didn’t allow us to stick by..finally our penultimate destination NANDAN KANAN,or better a hybrid of a zoo and sanctuary was on the booze.The place is inexplicable  because of its amassing beauty and diversified outlook….i do not have points of explaining it down on a piece of pen and paper and neither did we hav the time to explore its beauty within the confined and counted hours that we had…..though we had only a couple of hours at our disposal we made sure to embark on each of the species present there and capture it in camera….it was a pity indeed to see them trapped for the entertainment and amusement of cruel humans….humans who have made them devoid of their natural conditions and confined them to live in drastic horrible conditions wherein decay,degradation and ultimately death is the inevitable longterm outcome…..however to put a pause to such an endless chain of pitiful thoughts we had a ropeway travel…the constant yellings thru our journey or greetings to the tourist canadians was good to counter my Hypsiphobia(fear of height)….we departed NANDAN KANAN with a heavy heart…perhaps the time we spent with each other knowing hardcore realities of life and things passing in the twinkling of an eye,all drawing to a close….
@ 5:00 p.m.we reached the bhubaneshwar station..our aching souls and tired bodies all desperate for reservation in pursuit of a cosy well deserved sleep suffered a setback to find seats full…a group decision to board the general compartment of utkal kalinga exp. 5 hrs. from then closely followed…The time to pass away was difficult but not for some idiots

reservation Shreyas and Marathe had enjoyed the journey a lot(i ‘ll tell u latter about it).While we were waiting at the station platform Mandal and Thakur had a visit to their respective friend’s house.Sumit was calculating the expenses of the total tour.Being a leader he needs to do it,lol.Marathe and Shreyas  searching for “Hariyali” on the station platform.Golu,Vamshi by nature sleeping.Bollam and Saiki waiting for their Raita.And I was as usual searching where to get my favourite juices.I loved them a lot.4 glasses of juices and an Appy juice in 2 hrs was enough to satisfy me.At last the train came.Somehow we manages to get seat.Shreyas and Marathe got to talk with some close friend of Saiki which made their journey enjoying.
I don’t know when did i slept.Someone waked me up telling that Kharagpur is coming,Wake up guys.So the journey ends at last.From Kharagpur Station we finally came to our hostel back.Finally the trip was an awesome.I would remember it all through my life ,not that for the trip but for the friendship that we have among us,We as a whole better known as Patel DTE(D-Block Top East wing,Patel Hall,IIT Kharagpur)It was our teamwork which i will remember throughout my life.I love you Patel DTE.
