In my 4 yrs i have learned one thing not to do in IIT is “don’t get out of the heard of sheep…you will not be able to enter into it any more.”
Well Decrease the JEE level a bit more.and make some more Reservation.you will earn some more money.yeah i ll also bribe you some time so that i can pass.
I remember one of My Friend who got the highest marks in “Mechanics” in my first year is now in a position that he may have to discontinue his Studies as he got too many backlogs in many subjects.He is from one of the Top Departments of IIT Kgp.Apparently it seems that its the fault of IIT System.Let me tell some thing about him.He plays a lots of Computer games ans has upload download business.Can you please ever ask him what made him leave all his studies.He has actually nothing to tell because he is so much hopeless about the IIT system that for him it is better not to go after any dream which has no future.
Let me tell you .Every Student had lofty dreams before coming to IIT.And for that dream they repeatedly tried to get into IIT.The One who failed to get into IIT …I think they are lucky.Those who came here forgot what they once dreamed of.IIT Authorities made them forget .My friend was bright in studies but a bit week in his Determination.He has chosen his path now.He can’t come back.And the rest who are not like him …who tried to remain in the heard of Sheep get some huge package in some foreign banks and some Software Companies.
By The Way who am I to blame IIT Authorities.They Provided us 24 hrs High Speed Internet Connection,Good Hostels to live in,Sports Equipments for our Overall development,A big Central Library(The biggest in Asia) where we can get any books for our so called research works…The list doesn’t ends.What IIT didnt Provided me is a Faculty who can tell me what should I learn from his lecture.I just mugged them up before my Exams and vomited them on the Answer Sheet.
Another of my junior who failed in the “Digital Electronics” and gave Summer Exams,The Prof told me that that boy was even better in studies than most of the students who got good grades in the original Exam.
Oh I am for the wrong Information sorry..Internet,Gym,Good Hostel,VGSOM ..all has been provided by IIT Alumni s …Not IIT Authorities.
And Recently IIT cannot Provide Lab Equipments and faculty for Students ..yet has doubled its Intake.Well Let them Continue.After all Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution says that the Fittest Survives.I Hope I will finally Survive.Give me Best of Luck.

Well dude, why always blame the system? It is the same system that has provided the industry many successful professionals in the varied paradigms. Its true that the faculty may not be competent enough, or the curriculum may not be motivating enough. But thats how it works! For example, you can not learn music without the basics of sa re ga ma, which truly is very boring. But once you are through that stage, you can sing, and may even compose the best songs of the day.
As for the friend of yours, may be, he lost focus. May be, he forgot the reason he came to IIT in the first place. I don’t blame him, for IIT did not turn out to be anything like we expected, but we must adapt. Thats why we are human, and most importantly, IITians.
Lastly, all I would like to say is, in order to do something great, one must be dedicated, one must be true, and one must be robust enough to withstand failures. I would like to quote something that I heard recently, “If you are really honest about what you want out of your life, life gives it to you”!

Reason(sound familiar?): Well, i was just reading another blog where there was an all out war btw ppl booin down the iits and several iitans or iitians on the defensive. U may ask wat that has to do with ur post. Well, on that blog both sides forgot something, IIT or noIIT ur still a human being born on the same earth in the tender care of the same universal mother. IIT or noIIT wat difference does it make? Life is the same. its always a struggle. wanna leave a mark on the world? stop relying and start leading. I no this maybe way off topic but i just had to let it out. nice article btw. welcome to the real world.

What actually matters is how much one wants to get out of his life. The more he wants the more he gets. The thing is “You have to want !!! and that too from you heart”
There are very few things which are in God’s hand. The rest is controlled by you.
In every educational system there is some fault which cannot be repaired(I believe that and i have thought a lot on it) but finally

@ IITian… yes that guy may have lost his focus. There are many other guys who has lost their focus too. Unfortunately we lost some genius minds. I dont blame the system for that. I think its actually their inability to deliver hardwork.
